Ireland authorities seize drugs worth £60,000

LISBURN: Up to £60,000 worth of cannabis along with quantities of class A, C and prescription drugs have been seized at a house in Lisburn.

The drugs haul was made at an address in the Linen Green area of the city.

A significant amount of cash was also recovered during the search.

The property was searched after a vehicle linked to the address made of at speed from a vehicle checkpoint on Prince William Road at around 11.15pm here the other night.

Officers are now continuing to work to locate the driver of the vehicle who was not present at the address.
