BEIJING: Officers of Ningbo Customs District said they had seized 49,882 meters of calico which were suspected of infringing upon the intellectual property rights hold by The Walt Disney Company a few days ago.
Such images as “Mickey Mouse” and “Cinderella” were found on the calicos, said customs officers. The products intercepted were with a street value of RMB 303,000.
Customs officers detained the calicos after they got the confirmation from the right holder that the products were infringing ones.
