ABBOTTABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) recovered Rs 13.3 million from Women Medical College Abbottabad by attaching its bank accounts.
This was stated by the Director Audit FBR Muhammad Tufail here on Saturday. He said that for the last many years WMC was not paying its taxes on time and an amount of Rs 13 was due and FBR has attached two accounts in Bank Al-Falah and United Bank under FBR Ordinance, 2001 Section 140 and recovered Rs 13 million approximately.
Muhammad Tufail said that nobody was above the law and everyone has to pay its taxes to bring prosperity in the country.
