Lahore: RTO-II freezes accounts of Meco Tech, recovers Rs 6.4m tax

LAHORE: ThRegional Tax Office (RTO-II) has frozen the bank account of M/s. Meco Tech company and recovered Rs 6.4 million from the bank account of the company.

Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Regional Tax Office -II froze the bank account of Meco Tech as the company was involved in tax evasion.

According to details, Meco Tech is defaulter of Rs 100 million sales taxes and Rs 8.1 million income tax. Regional Tax Office authorities recovers amount of rupees Rs 6.4 million and Rs 2.7 million from bank accounts of the company.

The Meco Tech operates accounts in Bank Alfalah, Habib Bank Limited (HBL) and Allied Bank Limited (ABL).

Regional Tax Office issued many notices to the company for the payment of sales tax but he failed to pay the tax eventually the RTO-II freeze the account of the company it tax evasion.
