LSE gains 3.70pts to reach  5881.73pts

LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) here Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 3.70 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5878.03 points and closed at 5881.73 points.

The market’s overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 1.755 million shares to close against previous turnover of 550,015 shares, showing an upward move of 1.205 million shares. While, out of the total 87 active scrips 14 moved up, 14 shed values and 59 remained equal.

The top three Major Gainers of the day were Maple Leaf Cement Factory, Pak Elektron Limited and Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 3.01, Rs 2.78 and Rs 1.85 respectively.

Muslim Commercial Bank Limited, Habib Bank Limited and Engro Polymer and Chemical Limited lost their per share value by Rs 4.60, Re 0.67 and Re 0.18 respectively.

Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Crescent Textile Mills Limited with 551,000 shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 269,000 shares and Koh-i-Noor Energy Limited with 150,000 shares.
