ISLAMABAD: To encourage other natural resources for producing electricity, the government Friday reduced tariffs of power, generated through wind.
According to the statement issued by the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra), the government reduced wind power tariff by Rs2.05 per unit. The tariff would be now Rs10.60, against the previous tariff of Rs13.19. The new rate was decreased after a span of two years and will be applicable for six months.
