Faisalabad Customs Intelligence impounds smuggled Toyota Vitz car

FAISALABAD: The Customs Intelligence and Investigations successfully impounded a Toyota Vitz car model 2003 bearing registration number AAJ-872 Quetta.

According to details, Customs Intelligence and Investigations Additional Director M Ismail received credible information regarding smuggled vehicles.

After that, a raiding party comprising Muhammad Tahir Iqbal (senior intelligence officer), Mansoor Khan, Muhammad Sikander, Mukhtar Ahmed and Ghulam Ghous (sepoys) was formed, which intercepted the vehicle near Motorway Chowk, Sargodha Road, Faisalabad.

The raiding party asked owner Zubair Ahmed, son of Muhammad Siddique, who is a resident of Karachi, to produce the legal documents of the vehicles, but he failed to provide the same.

On his failure, the raiding team impounded the vehicle and registered a case against the owner, while further proceedings are underway.
