KARACHI: The planned Special Anti-Narcotics Wing of Excise and Taxation Department is still in doldrums. A decision to establish a special cell was taken during a meeting which was presided over by Secretary Excise Badar Jamil.

During that meeting, it was decided that a separate director general will be appointed for the cell while a rehabilitation centre will also be set up. Now the creation of special cell is in doldrums as Secretary Excise Badar Jamil is arrested by NAB authorities on June 4, 2015 while on the other hand government of Sindh has still not granted approval for creation of special cell and this project is limited only on papers.
