Iftikhar Shaikh, Faisal Mushtaq elected as KCAA President & Gen Secy

KARACHI: The Karachi Customs Agents Association (KCAA) has elected its office-bearers for the year 2013-14.

The annual elections of KCAA for the year 2013-14 is to be scheduled on September 26; but the members of the panel of Karachi Customs Agents Alliance have been selected for the office-bearers of KCAA unopposed, as no other panel contested against them.

The formal announcement of KCAA office-bearers for the year 2013-14 would be made on September 26, Thursday, but Customs Today has obtained copy of the final list of KCAA office-bearers for the year 2013-14.

According to the list, Ifthikar Ahmed Shaikh of Shaheen Agencies has been nominated as President KCAA, Mohammad Amin Essani of H O Enterprises as Senior Vice President, Mohammad Azam Malik of Nawab & Sons as Vice President, Tariq Rasheed Khan of Mustafai Corporation as Assistant Vice President, Faisal Mushtaq of Faisal International as General Secretary, Khursheed Alam Khan of Sentinel Shipping Company as Joint Secretary, Gohar Mehboob of Qazi Traders as Information Secretary and Muhammad Munaf Jangda of Danish International has been elected as Finance Secretary of KCAA.

The 12-member Managing Committee (MMC) of KCAA would be announced on September 26. It is pertinent to mention here that Customs Today on September 18 broke the news that Faisal Mushtaq is going to be elected as KCAA General Secretary.
