Customs Adjudication Peshawar collects Rs 569.8m during fiscal year 2014-15

ISLAMABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate Adjudication Peshawar region has collected Rs 569.8 million in financial year 2014-15 while heard and decided 1,421 anti-smuggling cases during the current fiscal year.

These cases are related to the smuggling of food, clothes, tea, auto parts and mobile phone. The above said revenue recovered through imposing penalties on accused persons.

According to Adjudication Collectorate report Additional Collector -1 Peshawar Rashid Habib has heard and decided 691 different types of smuggling cases while collected 359 million of revenue during the said year.

While on the other hand Additional Collector -II Adjudication Peshawar Karam Elahi has heard and decided 730 different types of smuggling cases while collected Rs 210 million of revenue during the said year.
