KSE closes higher as 100-index adds 46pts to reach 35502 level

KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) Monday closed in green zone as 100-index gained 45.93 points to reach 35502.28 points.

The stock witnessed highest trading level of 35545.65 points and lowest level of 35291.08 points. Total volume traded in the market was 362,822,640 shares with 365 total traded companies out of which 201 were up 149 were down and 15 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 68,131,800 shares. It was followed by technology & communication with a total traded volume of 46,346,000 shares.

The three top traded companies were K-Electric Ltd. with a volume of 36,535,000 and price per share of 8.50 (0.16), TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 22,682,500 of price per share of 34.40 (1.14), Pak Int.Bulk with a volume 18,140,000 of price per share of 39.50 (0.92).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share 2414.00 (114.00), Unilever Foods with price per share of 7950.00 (100.00) and Ferozsons (Lab) share of 739.99 (28.38).

The top three decliners were Exide (PAK)with price per share of 1190.08 (-48.30), Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 646.10 (-20.88) and Siemens Pak. share of 1260.00 (-15.00).
