The official put the number of projects at 95, including 55 electricity projects and 40 water plans.

He mentioned Azerbaijan, Algeria, Uzbekistan, Bolivia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Sudan, Syria, Iraq, Oman, Ghana, Kenya, Lebanon, Niger, Nigeria, Venezuela, Ethiopia, Armenia, South Africa, Afghanistan, the United Arab Emirates and Sri Lanka as the countries in them Iran is implementing or will carry out electricity and water projects.

On April 25, Mojtaba Khosrotaj, the Iranian deputy industry, mining, and trade minister, said the country is projected to export $16 billion of technical and engineering services in the current Iranian calendar year, which began on March 21.

Traditionally, Iran relies heavily on oil for revenue. With sanctions restricting oil exports, the government has worked to advance other parts of the economy.
