Watan Party approaches LHC to halt coal power project in Sahiwal

LAHORE: The Watan Party has filed an appeal in the Lahore High Court (LHC) to stop generation of electricity from coal in Sahiwal. The application is submitted by chairman Watan Party Barrister Zafar Ullah Khan.

The Watan Party has urged the government that after inauguration of coal power project, corbon dioxide and sulphur dioxide will be generated that also become reason to spread diseases to harm human life.
