Inland Revenue officials considering approaching Interior Ministry to put Ayyan’s name in ECL

ISLAMABAD: Although super model Ayyan Ali is free on bail but her entire documents such as her passport, CNIC and other important documents are still in the custody of customs officials.

Sources told Customs Today that Ayyan Ali will have to seek permission from Customs Court if she wants to travel abroad. On the other hand, officials of Inland Revenue Department are considering approaching the Ministry of Interior to put her name in Exit Control List (ECL). The officials are confident that there is quite a marginable progress in cases against her which includes money laundering and tax envision.

They feared that if AyyanAli will go abroad smooth investigation in these will definitely affected. On the other hands defense counsel of Ayyan Ali considering filing application seek her permanent exemption from appearing in courts.

He Customs lawyers do not show their objection then permanent exemption will be granted to her. Authorities are confident that she will be inducted on charges of money laundering during next hearing of case. It is pertinent to mention here that Ayyan Ali is going to appear in Court on 27th of July, 2015.
