LAHORE: Customs chief collector central region celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr in Peshawar while most of the other customs officials of the region mostly offered Eid prayer in Lahore.
Collector of Customs Lahore Preventive Mukarram Jah told Customs Today that his family hails from Blochistan but almost all members of his family have shifted from there, hence, there remains no question to celebrate Eid there. He celebrated Eid in Lahore along with his family.
On the other hand collector customs Lahore Appraisement Zahid Khokar also offered Eid prayer in Lahore, sources told this scribe.
The other customs officers including additional collector Sadia Munib, Deputy collector Abass Ali Babar, AC Customs Headquarter Muhammad Afzal, Superintendent Mumtaz Ajmal Mian and others offered Eid prayer in Lahore and celebrated this ‘Tehwaar’ in the city.
Meanwhile, a circular issued said that inspector Safdar Mahi and Yousaf Mir Zaman handled security arrangements at the Customs House.
