ISLAMABAD: Super model Ayyan Ali who was released on bail recently in a money laundering case has been restricted to travel to abroad as government has entered her name in Exit Control List (ECL).

Ayyan is currently in Karachi after getting bail from court and there were rumours that she might fly to Dubai. But all the rumours died away when government included her name in ECL and restricted her not to move out of the country till further orders.

Ayyan Ali was released from Adiala Jail on July 16 and after getting out of jail, she was immediately taken to Karachi. It seemed apparently that Ayyan would now fly to Dubai and the case would be finish now. But the recent decision by the government shows that the case would move ahead further till the final verdict.

It is important to mention here that Ayyan was in jail in currency smuggling case. She was arrested on May 14 from Benazir International Airport when she was trying to take $500,000 with her to Dubai but was arrested by the customs officials at the airport.
