KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-index lost 121.69 points or 0.34 percent to reach 35934.99 points and volume of 234,747,100 shares on Thursday.
Total volume traded in the market was 575,612,220 shares with 390 total traded companies out of which 167 were up 201 were down and 22 were unchanged.
Technology and Communication was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 87,237,000 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 86,196,200 shares.
The three top traded companies were Dewan Cement with a volume of 33,085,500 and price per share of 15.46 (0.44), B.O.Punjab with a volume 30,529,000 of price per share of 10.03 (0.08), Pervez Ahmed with a volume 25,585,500 of price per share of 3.61 (0.28).
The top three advancers were Nestle Pak with price per share 10524.50 (279.50), Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 658.31 (31.34) and Hinopak MotorXD share of 890.44 (13.02).
The top three decliners were Bata (Pak) with price per share of 3373.17 (-176.83), Murree Brewery with price per share of 950.00 (-50.00) and Ferozsons (Lab) share of 733.50 (-21.26).
High and low were 36115.84 and 35876.78 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 234,747,100 shares.
