SIALKOT: Customs’ Anti Smuggling Squad Sialkot has successfully seized as many as 880 bags of smuggled plastic crush, weighing 22 tons from a truck during a special checking at a picket on GT Road here.
According to the senior officials of the Sialkot Customs Department, the seized plastic crush (worth of Rs 3 million) was being smuggled to Sialkot, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Mandi Bahaud Din and Lahore markets from Iran through Quetta.
Customs authorities registered a case against accused persons while further proceedings are still on till the filing of this report.
