RTO-I suspends UDC over serious allegations

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Regional Tax Office-I(RTO-I) has suspended Malik Muhammad Irshad, an upper division clerk (UDC) due to some serious allegations.

Sources told Customs Today, that the competent authority suspends Irshad under section 5 (i) of government servant (efficiency and discipline) rules 1973.

Malik Muhammad Irshad was currently working as UDC in Regional Tax Office Lahore and has been suspended for three months. The National Accountability Bauru (NAB) Lahore also arrested him several times.

The suspension order was issued by the commissioner Inland Revenue IP, IFD & HRM Regional Tax Office Lahore. The copy of suspension order has been issued to chief commissioner inland Revenue RTO Lahore, commissioner Inland Revenue Appeal II RTO Lahore, AGPR, and other relevant officers.
