Greece had the biggest fall in production during the month – down 4.6%.

Across the euro area the production of non-durable consumer goods was up 2.5%, while capital goods were up 1.7%.

Month-on-month industrial production fell in the EU and euro zone, down 0.2% and 0.4% respectively.

Despite its strong growth on last year’s figures, Ireland’s industrial production also dipped between May and June, down 2% in the period.

Denmark had the highest monthly growth, however, up 4.2% from May to June.
