Excise seizes narcotics, arrests two peddlers

HYDERABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department has seized huge quantity of charas and liquor and arrested two drug peddler during two different raids in  Thatta and Badin districts

Sources told Customs Today that on special directions of Excise Taxation and Narcotics director Syed Sibtain Ali Bukhari, the team raided different locations and recovered 490 grams of charas and 250 liters illicit of alcohol from Hyderabad region, Badin and Thatta  and arrested two drug peddler

Sources further revealed that special team under the supervision of  Syed  Sikander Shah A.E.T.O Thatta district raided on different locations and seized 250 liters of illicit liquor and arrested one accused person.  While during another raid Excise Taxation and Narcotics Hyderabad region team led by Abdul Jabar Bharghary raided and recovered 490 grams of chars and  arrested one drug peddler.

Separate cases has been registered against the accused and further interrogations and proceedings are still underway.
