Customs foils bid to smuggle auto parts, engines

KARACHI: Model Customs Collectorate Quetta successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle a huge quantity of auto parts, and engines.

Sources told Customs Today that collectorate Quetta received a credible information regarding smuggling of auto parts and vehicle’s engines.

Soon after receiving the tip, Assistant Collector constituted a team who intercepted a truck  on Balili Road. During checking of the truck the customs team found huge quantity of auto parts, car engines and motor cycles engines.

Customs Collector ordered to immediately seized the vehicles and smuggled items and arrested driver Noor Khan. A case has been registered against driver and owner of the goods, while other proceedings are still underway
