LAHORE: The Customs Investigation and Intelligence’ anti-smuggling wing has seized smuggled items of Afghan Transit Trade valued at Rs 10 million on Multan Road.
On the information of Additional Director Mohsin Rafique, Customs Intelligence officials intercepted a truck loaded with auto parts, bicycles, alarms, tyres and cloth. The customs authorities confirming that the items were being transported to Lahore illegally, seized the items and arrested two accused Mir Gull and Ghulam Hussain, sources said.
They added that the truck was coming from Peshawar with the smuggled items belonging to many small traders.
The sources said that following registering case against the accused party the customs authorities have started investigation
