KARACHI: Though the Karachi Stock Exchange shed some early gains, yet the benchmark KSE-100 index added 219 points to take the tally to 33756.57 points level till midday on Thursday.
The stock reached the highest trading level of 33926.04 points and also recorded the lowest level of 33537.42 points. The maximum trading volume remained 54,777,700 shares with the total volume of Rs3,735,980,451.
Earlier, the Karachi stocks, in a bid to recoup overnight losses, gained mammoth 352 points and reached 33889.74 points level.
On Wednesday, the shares in the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) ended down in a volatile session. The benchmark 100-share index at the KSE closed down 0.77 percent, or 261.38 points, at 33,537.42.
