LCCI condemns Indian aggression at LoC

 LAHORE: While condemning Indian aggression at Line of Control in strongest possible words, the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry has demanded of the government to raise the issue at all international forums effectively.

In a statement issued here the LCCI President Ijaz A. Mumtaz said that irresponsible act of Indian government raising alarm bells for prospects of peace and tranquility in otherwise volatile region.

Ijaz A. Mumtaz said that brutal killing of innocent Pakistanis by the Indian Army is not tolerable. He feared dire consequences of unprovoked Indian shelling. 

LCCI President said urged the government to convey a clear message to the Indian government that Pakistan has the ability to give a strong answer of Indian aggression.

While expressing concern over the role of International community, LCCI President said that United Nations should take notice of the Indian aggression and intervene in the matter as Pakistan is an atomic power and any irresponsibility by the Indian side could give birth to a historic human tragedy.

Ijaz A. Mumtaz said that Pakistan wants peace with all its neighbour but would not compromise on sovereignty.

Ijaz A. Mumtaz said that business community unanimous condemns the Indian aggression and demands the international community to take notice of this blatant violation of the international norms.
