Commissioner Inland Revenue to select taxpayers’ cases for audit‏

MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has given powers to commissioner Inland Revenue of the Regional Tax office (RTO) Multan to select taxpayer’s cases for audit.

The FBR has conferred discretionary powers to commissioner Inland Revenue of the Regional Tax Offices for the selection of audit cases. Now the Commissioner Inland Revenue will select minimum 5-20 percent cases of national taxpayers.
These selected tax cases from FBR for audit will be concluded in specific time period by commissioner Inland Revenue.
