KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-index gained 87.57 points or 0.26 percent to reach 34397.33 points and volume of 129,172,200 shares on Thursday.
Earlier, the Karachi stocks, in a bid to recoup overnight losses, gained 151.57 points to reach 34461.33 points level.
On Wednesday, the Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-index lost 146.58 points or 0.43 per cent to reach 34309.76 points and volume of 125,686,540 shares. High and low were 34456.34 and 34122.19 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 125,686,540 shares.
