MOSCOW: Kryooprema has begun its first cryogenic equipment deliveries to Russia, seen as a key development for the Serbian company as it views the country as a ‘very promising market’.

This is largely thanks to the preferential trade treaty between the two countries for the export of Serbian goods to Russia with no customs duties.

Expecting substantial demand from the Russian market, the company entered into a new investment cycle in order to increase production capacity for cryogenic micro bulk pallet and vertical bulk tanks.

In the field of ultra high vacuum (UHV) equipment the company received the orders from Nuclear Institute Vinca of Serbia to supply UHV vacuum chambers and connecting piping for Rutherford backscattering spectrometry (RBS), proton induced X-ray emission (PIXE), nuclear reaction analysis (NRA) and proton induced ϒ-ray emission (PIGE).

Earlier this year, Kryooprema noted that it was experiencing increasing demand for its cryogenic equipment refurbishment and overhaul services. In 2016 the company celebrates 25 years of cryogenic equipment manufacturing in Serbia and South East Europe.
