Federal Ombudsman as respondent: FST adjourns hearing till Sep 28

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal (FST) on Thursday heard the case consisting Federal Ombudsman (FO) Taimoor Azmat Usman as respondent.

The two-member FST bench, comprising Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Syed Muhammad Hamid, heard the case filed by Chaudhary Talib Hussain. The petitioner had sought ‘three percent increment/grant’ in the remuneration from the Federal Ombudsman Secretariat.

Advocate Chaudhary Sagheer Ahmad represented the petitioner while advocate Muhammad Anwar represented the Federal Ombudsman in the court.

It is pertinent to mention that respondent’s (Federal Ombudsman) counsel also filed an objection in the case. The case hearing was adjourned till September 28.
