LAREDO: Customs and Border Protection honored the 9/11 attack victims.
Bridge Two was closed for about half an hour for the ceremony.
During the ceremony, agents lowered the flag to half-staff, they played Taps and the formation of a line of agents observed the moment of silence.
“I think for all of us who are present today, it’s a chance to reflect on a loss, but also everything that happened and moving forward from that date”, says Assistant Director of Trade Operations Brad Skinner.
The moment of silence was synchronized to occur at 7:46 central time, the exact moment the first plane struck the north tower of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
