DG Excise tells officers to achieve quarterly revenue target

LAHORE: Akram Ashraf Gondal, Director General of Punjab Excise and Taxation Department, has warned the officails to achieve their quarterly target or get ready to face departmental action.

During a meeting, Gondal said that all regional directors should make sure that their recoveries should be completed within the set time. He said that all officers and staff should work with full force to collect taxes, especially professional tax and property tax.

During his address, Gondal said that quarterly target should be chased until September 30, otherwise stern action will be taken against them.  Director Region B Akram Ashraf Gonal taken additional charge as Director General Excise  last week.
