Solano County to increase business opportunities with state of California

FAIRFIELD : A free workshop is planned Sept. 18 for small-business owners in Solano County to learn about increasing business opportunities with the state of California.The Doing Business with the State of California workshop will run from at the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce, 1111 Webster St., according to a press release from Assemblyman Jim Frazier’s office.

The event is co-sponsored by Frazier, D-Oakley, the California Department of General Services and the Fairfield-Suisun and Vacaville chambers of commerce. It is open to chamber members and also to those who are not chamber members.Staff from the Department of General Services will explain the process of becoming certified to do business with the state, according to the release.
