Founder Group wins ICCI polls for 2015-16 unopposed

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ICCI) has officially announced that the Founder Group has won the ICCI elections unopposed for the term of 2015-16. Nasir Khan was the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) while Abdul Ghaffar Chaudhry and Muhammad Hussain were acted as members of Election Commission (EC).

Atif Ikram has been elected as the President, Sheikh Pervez Ahmed Senior Vice President and Sheikh Abdul Waheed as Vice President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the year 2015-16. They will take over charge on 1st October 2015.

Speaking at the occasion, Abdul Rauf, The chairman of the Founder Group, congratulated the new office bearers and executive members of ICCI on their unopposed election and said that all decisions in Founder Group are taken on merit. He said Founder Group has always tried to select best talent for ICCI elections to promote the interests of trade and industry and hoped that the new team would make utmost efforts for serving the cause of business community.

Muzzamil Hussain Sabri President, M. Shakeel Munir Senior Vice President and M. Ashfaq Hussain Chatha Vice President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry also felicitated the new team on its unopposed election and stressed upon the need of providing best services to the business community. They also assured that their assistance and guidance would be available to the new team as and when required.

Atif Ikram, newly elected President, Sheikh Pervez Ahmed Senior Vice President and Sheik Abdul Waheed Vice President ICCI thanked the Chairman and members of Founder Group as well as all the members of ICCI for reposing confidence in them and electing them unopposed as office bearers of ICCI. They said they would try to perform up to the expectations of stakeholders and use this platform for promoting the interests of business community.
