Judge Abdul Sattar to hear case of sales tax embezzlement against Customs inspector

LAHORE: Accountability court Judge Abdul Sattar will hear a case of embezzlement of sales tax against Customs inspector Muhammad Khalid and four other inspectors on September 22 (today).

Earlier during the last hearing of the said case National Accountability Bearu (NAB) Lahore submit return reply to Accountability Court that the accused were involved in submission of forge vouchers case. NAB has arrested Superintend Muhammad Khalid, and four inspectors Muhammad Akram, Sheikh Nadeem Lateef, Syad Ali Abbas and Nasir Dogar for causing a loss of millions of rupees to government kitty by using forge vouchers.
