APTEA urges FBR to provide better medical facilities to employees

LAHORE: All Pakistan Tax Employees Association (APTEA) Lahore President Asghar Verya has asked the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to provide health facilities to employees of Lahore division.

He said that only Sheikh Zaid Hospital covered the employees of Lahore division that was not enough, adding that employees of other districts of the Lahore division have to face many problems as they came from Kasur, Nankana Sahab and Shiekhpura in Lahore for medical facilities.

He suggested that the FBR should nominate hospitals in the respective districts to facilitate its employees those were working hard to generate revenue and meet the targets.

He further said that employment quota should be increased for the children of FBR officials to ten percent, adding that FBR and govt should develop a mechanism for the timely promotion of the lower rank employees those are bank bone of the department.
