FBR to review performance of RTOs, LTUs for Q1

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has started a campaign to review the performance of all field formations in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2015.

According to the sources, the FBR has decided to take stern actions against those officials who failed to give satisfactory output during the first quarter. The sources said that the FBR will convene a meeting of the Large Taxpayers Units (LTUs) and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) of Karachi, Islamabad,and Rawalpindi soon.

As per details, during meeting, the FBR authorities will examine the performance of LTU, RTO Islamabad,and RTO Rawalpindi after which further meetings will be conducted in the near future for the rest of LTUs and RTOs. Officials who have shown an outstanding performance will get rewards while those whose performance was not up to the mark will be transferred.
