RTO Multan rejects plea of Colony Textile Mills for change of tax office‏

MULTAN: The Regional Tax Office Multan rejected the application of Colony Textile Mills Limited for the change of tax office from RTO Multan to another Regional Tax Office.

According to details, Commissioner Regional Tax Office Multan rejected the request for the shifting of their tax record from Regional Tax Office to other Regional Tax Office .There are few tax matters of Colony Textile mills in the appellate tribunal which are under process.

Colony Textile Mills Limited is facing tax evasion cases at the Regional Tax Office Multan and they have filed appeal in the appellate tribunal against the decision of Commissioner Appeal.

The Regional Tax Office Multan rejected the request of Colony Textile Mills Limited for change of Regional Tax of tax Office. Colony Textile mills limited filed tax returns in Regional Tax Office Multan after its creation and now they were trying to change their tax location into another city due to some reason.

According to sources, a defaulter will not be allowed to change their tax office before the clearance of their outstanding dues and on that ground Commissioner Regional Tax Office Multan rejected their application for the change of their tax office.

For the transfer of Regional Tax Office Multan to other Regional Tax Office defaulter needs to pay outstanding amount of tax but in this case the tax matters are under the appellate tribunal for the settlement.
