S. Korea’s exports fall by 8.3% to $43.51bn in Sept

SEOUL: South Korea’s exports reduced 8.3 percent in September from a year earlier, keeping a downward trend for nine straight months, a government report showed on Thursday.

Exports, which account for about half of the economy, declined 8.3 percent from a year earlier to 43.51 billion U.S. dollars in September, after tumbling 14.7 percent in the prior month, according to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
