KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee Friday strengthened in interbank, however, it lost value in open market.
According to the local market, the American currency lost 5 paisas in interbank to be traded at 104.30 and gained 10 paisas in cash-free market to reach 104.60. On Thursday, the rupee moved slightly against the dollar on the money market in the process of trading. The rupee almost held the overnight levels against the dollar for buying and selling at Rs104.50 and Rs104.52 respectively in open market. In interbank, the rupee recovered its overnight losses in terms of the dollar, gaining five-paisa for buying and selling at Rs 104.35.
