Customs Court adjourns 21 cases on Friday

LAHORE: In the Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling 21 different cases were scheduled on Friday.

The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti Smuggling proceeded on many cases while few adjourned without any proceedings. Customs Court also granted a bail in a case of alleged smuggling. According to details available to Customs Today, a suspect Muhammad Sadqiue applied for pre arrest bail in alleged smuggling case. The court, after hearing his lawyer’s arguments, approved his bail against guarantee of cash.

Cases scheduled for hearing on Friday including tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics. Court also proceeded on statements of witnesses on four different cases on the day.
