ASO Sialkot siezes smuggled auto parts worth Rs 0.7m

SIALKOT: Anti Smuggling Organization ( ASO) Sialkot has seized imported auto parts worth Rs 0.7 million market value.

Sources told Customs Today that the Additional Collector Palwasha Saeed received secret information about smuggling of imported auto parts. After receiving the information, Palwasha Saeed constituted a raiding team.

The sources further said that the ASO team conducted a raid and seized imported auto parts worth Rs 0.7 million. After inquiring legal documents about the possession of the smuggled items, the accused failed to produce the same. The Customs authorities seized the smuggled auto parts and also  lodged an FIR against the suspects.
