Customs Court sends accused to jail on judicial remand

LAHORE: The Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has approved a 14-day judicial remand of a suspects who was arrested by the Customs authorities from the Allama Iqbal International Airport.

According to details available to Customs Today, Muhammad Tariq was coming from Bangkok while he was booked by the Customs airport authorities. During checking of his luggage, the Customs team seized auto parts of precious vehicles worth more than Rs 1 million. The court sent him to jail on judicial remand for 14 days.
