Abid Hayat elected as chairman of All Pakistan CNG Association

LAHORE: Renowned businessman of Islamabad Muhammad Abid Hayat has been elected as the chairman of the All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) for the year 2015-16.

Abid Hayat has been working in oil and gas sector for the last 25 years while his insight is not only respected but also taken seriously in the concerned circles.

Mian Shahid Iqbal of Bahawalpur became senior vice chairman of the CNG body. He served as chairman APCNGA Punjab and worked hard with former central chairman Captain Shuja for the rights of CNG community.

Moreover, Haji Sajid Islam of Kohat elected as central vice chairman of the APCNGA.

Speaking on the occasion, newly elected central chairman Abid Hayat, who belong to Ghiyas Paracha group, thanked members for reposing confidence in his leadership.

Spelling out his priorities, Abid Hayat said that he will work hard for the revival of the CNG industry across the country with special attention to Punjab where the sector is facing many problems that need immediate attention and resolution. He said that he would focus on strengthening liaison with various government departments including OGRA, Ministry of Petroleum and gas utilities to overcome problems faced by the CNG community.
