ANTIOCH: Antioch will host a workshop to link employers with interns so that community college and high school students can learn the necessary skills to succeed in  job market. The workshop will be at the Antioch Community Center. The half-day event will bring together high school students and employers and feature Antioch’s commitment to work-based learning programs in its schools.

There will be a kickoff of Launch Path, which uses an online platform to match employers with qualified students seeking internships.Unlike traditional internships that focus on students who have completed studies at a four-year college or university, Launch Path recruits students still in school.Launch Path got under way this year and was developed by The Foundation for California Community Colleges and the Linked Learning Alliance.
