NEW YORK: U.S. Customs and Border Protection this week opened an expanded Federal Inspection Station at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport.
The new customs facility at 5301 E. Perimeter Road has advanced technology for screening international general aviation aircraft and passengers.
The station also offers expanded hours of 8 a.m. to midnight seven days a week.
Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport is one of the busiest general aviation facilities in the nation. More than 800 aircraft, including 255 jets and 24 helicopters call it home.
