FBR chairman puts emphasis on revenue collection

LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue Chairman Tariq Bajwa during his two-day stay in Lahore held meetings to review performance of regional offices.

According to details, Bajwa held meetings with Regional Tax Office (RTO) I Lahore Chief Commissioner Waqar Ahmad, Large Taxpayer Unit (LTU) Chief Commissioner Chaudhry Safdar and other officials of the Inland Revenue.

The FBR chairman discussed the performance of the regional tax offices and LTU in the first quarter of current fiscal year. He pressed the officials to expedite the revenue collection to meet the set target of current fiscal year. He also urged the officials to increase the efficiency of the staff.
