LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Regional Tax Office-I (RTO-I), has detected secret bank accounts of Hudebia Engineering Mills and recovered Rs 264,000 from the Gulberg branch of the National Bank.
Earlier the RTO-I had frozen the bank accounts of Hudebia Engineering Mills in tax evasion of Rs 6.7 million. The RTO-I, Zone-III attached the bank account and recovered Rs 1.3 million from the bank accounts of the mills.
Source told Customs Today that the FBR had sent a number of notices to the directors of Hudebia Engineering Mills but they did not pay tax liability. After that, the FBR took stern action and attached the bank accounts.
