KSE continues bullish rally, reaches 30307.88pts by midday

KARACHI: It seems the International investors conference going on in Islamabad has boost confidence of the investors at the Karachi Stock Exchange as KSE-100 index continued steadily upward march and increased its gain to 68.92 points or 0.23% to reach 30307.88 points in the midday trading on Tuesday.

The stock exchange which opened at overnight closing of 30238 points rallied and set the direction for the investors. The bullish trend seems to have dug in and decided to keep in the stocks afloat.

Earlier the market opened on a positive note, though investors appeared cautious, the overall sentiments remained bullish.

Analysts attributed the bullish trend in the market to easing of political concerns and speculation in fertilizer and selected cement sector stocks amid expectations for record earnings for the quarter impacted the sentiments.

Meanwhile, the international investors conference has been going in Islamabad wherein the government has unveiled various measures to woo investors in various sectors. The conference is expected to leave positive impact on over investment scenario.
