KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) Wednesday gained 71 points to reach 33980.84 points level till midday (12:13pm).
On Tuesday, the KSE 100-index shed 56.58 points, or 0.17 percent, to close at 33,910.17 points. KSE 30-share Index fell 42.75 points, or 0.21 percent, to end at 20,335.87 points. As many as 384 scrips were active; of which 135 advanced, 218 declined and 31 remained unchanged. The ready market volumes stood at 170.273 million shares as compared to 135.239 million shares in the last trading session.
