HONG KONG: Port Angeles – It’s been almost a year since Kenmore Airlines dropped air service to Fairchild International Airport in Port Angeles, but it appears that a new air carrier is about to restore service for Peninsula residents.
Portland-based SeaPort Airlines announced today that as of March 1st in 2016, they will expand their service to include connections to Port Angeles and Moses Lake along with direct service to Sea-Tac.
Port Angeles will be provided with five round trips to Sea-Tac each weekday, with reduced service on weekends, utilizing a 9-passenger Cessna Caravan turboprop aircraft.
So far, flight times are scheduled to run throughout the day starting as early as 6:00 AM from Port Angeles, and go through 6:00 PM. Weekend flights will depart Port Angeles at 11:45 AM and return from Sea-Tac at 1:00 PM both Saturday and Sunday.
Introductory fares for the Port Angeles to Sea-Tac flight will run $49.00 each way, including taxes and fees. Tickets for those introductory fares will go on sale on February 15th of 2016, and are valid from March 1st through April 14th of 2016.
Regular fare prices are expected to run between $69.00 to $159.00 depending on date of purchase and flight times.
